A feast for the Gods

I forgot completely about the pictures I took last month, when we celebrated my beloved mother’s birthday. It was on the 20th of April (born on the same day with Hitler, lol :D ) and we ate at the Japanese restaurant. My best friend monstrupufos was with us because even mom loves her~ We had some lovely food and lovely time on a special day.

My little brother, battling with the dessert.

And my beautiful mother <3 Happy birthday once again. If you ever read this, I love you. Nono and the little bug also.

Rome by Day part II

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. A wonderful quote by Dr Seuss which fits my feelings best now. I really miss Rome and spending time carefree with my mother. Part one is Here.

Another batch of pictures, Rome through my eyes. I’ve been looking up quite alot those days, huh? :) I hope you liked it! Next post will be about Japan, stay tuned! Take care, lovely readers~

Glimpses of Japan: Teaser Post!

Fist of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of recent updates. I had a really difficult week, health wise, so I spent most of my time sleeping and resting to get better as soon as possible :)

Now, now, to explain this sudden post. I decided to share with you my memories from my trips to Japan. I’ve been to Japan two times, once in April 2009 and the second time in August 2010. I have a lot of pictures (not as nice as I wish they were, though) and a lot of still vivid memories that I’d love to write down so I can remember them forever.

I guess we could call this a teaser post :)

A few pictures, to make the teaser worth-while :) I hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I do! Take care <3

Where all your wishes come true

Also known as Fontana Di Trevi, where a coin grants your wish :)

At least that’s what I thought. The real legend, if we can call a legend real, is that if you throw a coin with your back at the fountain, over the shoulder you will return to Rome. It is said that there are roughly 3500 euros thrown into the fountain everyday. I’m really curious who gathers them all (probably the state, but I like imagining that this little dwarf come out at night and picks up all the money :D )

It’s the most beautiful fountain I’ve ever seen. Especially if you visit it at sunset, the sight is breathtakingly beautiful. I don’t think my photos picture the sights well enough, but for the ones who haven’t seen it with their own eyes, it gives an idea about it’s astonishing peculiarity.

We bought ice cream (the only one that I ate in Italy, damn you diet) from a gellateria close Trevi.

I had chocolate and mint and it was delicious.

Obviously since it was a huge exception and a rule-breaker we had to take dozens of pictures to immortalize the moment and feel guilty afterwards~

Have you ever seen the fountain yourself? Did you like it as much as I did? :) Hope you enjoyed and take care, dear readers!

Mind The Gap Between The Years

A very, very late new year’s eve story. I spent the gap between the years with my (now ex) classmates, therefore it was a pretty quiet party. Well, except for the wild dancing, pillow fights and alcohol sneaking.

What my hair and makeup looked like before the madness started :)

Also while looking at this picture I realize how much my hair has grown. I wish I could dye it now, but I need to wait until the summer :(

We had delicious cupcakes and we put makeup on people. Normally I’d be the first to offer to do the makeup, but this time I preferred to be the photographer instead.

Before/while dancing. We had good music, but unfortunately I sprained a muscle in my thigh and it hurt terribly so I couldn’t dance much. It still hurt a few days after, even when I walked, I thought I broke something.

No party is a real party without a pillow fight! Especially if the majority of the party animals are girls~

The only boy in the group had to suffer more, obviously, so we kind of, killed him, haha~

Camwhoring with the food, then while dancing, I’m awful :( The bottom photo is my favourite from the whole night though~

And one of the first pictures of the year.

Little stars, to brighten our dreams and hopes for the new year :)

How did you spend your new year’s eve? Did you enjoy it? How has your year been? I’m off to pack for Rome <3 Take care of you, lovely readers!
