Come in here, dear boy

Have a cigar, you’re gonna go far. Ten points and a kiss for you if you know the song :) How have you been, dear readers? I’m sorry for the lack of outfit posts, but the weather has been terrible in here lately. Foggy and freezing cold all day long. On top of that I had my term papers and a few projects for school so I’ve been pretty caught up with studying. On Sunday I took a break so here you are!

Jacket, Coat and Skirt: Zara Boots: Dr Martens Tote: Cambridge souvenir shop Shirt: pull and bear

Sunday has also been the first day I’ve used my new camera outside, that’s why the photos aren’t at their best. I promise I’ll figure out the settings and improve soon :3

Am I the only one who just can’t keep a tote bag clean? I swear no matter how often I wash them, in maximum a week I’ve stained them with something again. Probably because they’re cheaper and more resistant that leather bags, so I’m being careless.

Thank you for reading. Adieu!

Lover to lover

My beloved blog and readers, I present you the beginning of a new era. That sounds too dramatic, doesn’t it? I can’t help it, I’m incredibly happy. Look what I got today! It’s obviously not bought on a whim, I’ve been struggling to raise money for this camera for two years and my parents finally took pity on me and said I’ll pay what I have and they’ll pay the rest and here is my Christmas present :D I still can’t believe my eyes when I see the boxes scattered around the room and my lovely camera sitting beside me on the bed. I have big plans and projects in my mind, but I’ll keep you guessing for now :) I hope you had a day at least half as amazing as mine. Sleep tight!

Oh that I am

A misfortunate photoshoot, in which mostly everything went wrong. It all started with me (obviously) starting to get ready too late. By the time I finished the sun was already setting and it was a cloudy day so the lightning sucked. Then I didn’t manage to find my camera’s charger (I still haven’t) although I literally turned the house upside down. Okay, I’m lying, not literally. To make things even better, my hair went berserk due to the humidity, so it was all frizzy and straight-ish by the time we reached the park. We had to take the photos in front of this ugly graffiti because it was white-ish so the light was better and it was the only change we had at taking not blurry and (almost) focused photos.

On a lighter note, except for the mostly failed photoshoot, last Saturday was one of the best days of my life. Chew Lips held a concert in my city and mind you, they’re high up in my favourite bands list. This is what I wore to the concert :3

Jacket: GUESS Shirt: Pull&Bear Skirt: Pull&Bear Shoes: New Look Purse: Pull&Bear Accesories: Ebay

See? Hair went all flat and frizzy, I had to go back home to fix it.. But then my make-up came out so well, I was really proud of myself :D

“I am standing in front of this uglyass graffiti and glaring at you, camera, you’d better take good photos and not die on me, got it?”

As you can see, my nails have finally grown and I’m delighted to show them off.

Bonus: “Hey let’s see if I can put my leg up there without flashing my panties :D ” And I did it! Haha, thank you for reading, hope you’ll have a lovely evening everyone!

Welcome to the family

Japan Play Transylvania is right around the corner (tomorrow) and I am very, very nervous, I’m almost bouncing on my seat as I type. Obviously nothing in my closet felt good enough for such an event so I went shopping but the typical scenario happened: You have money and you actually need something nice, but you can’t find anything. I tried on a million outfits but nothing but this dress looked right to me. It’s from Zara and it’s a beautiful beige. I fell in love with this design (front short~back long) last summer when I was in England and it took Romania a year to catch up on the trend, apparently.

A shirt. Another typical scenario, if I like the writing on a shirt I have to have it. On this on it says You are mine and below, realy tiny, I am yours. I was thinking about wearing it with a pair of mint or black jeans but I’m nowhere near confident when wearing pants so the plan failed.

Simple, black shoes. Needed some since my old ones are embarrassingly ragged.

A really warm welcome to my new baby! It won’t surpass my beloved Canon, but the macros it does are really, really nice. It’s the camera I won together with the title of the official blogger of Japan Play and I must use it tomorrow (one more reason I’m anxious, I can’t use my camera)

Aaaaand, suspense! What’s in this cute package shipped from Japan?

Falsies! It’s turning into a habit that once a year I’m buying false lashes, apparently. I’m wearing them right now and they look really nice :)

Ah wish me good luck tomorrow, I’m a nervous wreck right now! Thank you for reading! Take care <3

Aeterna lux solis

Hello, hello! As I promised, an outfit post. Unfortunately, these are the only outfit pictures that I have in Rome (good thing it’s my favourite outfit, too~) since the camera’s memory card broke. I wore this on the day we visited the Vatican and to be honest it was a terrible day. Not because of the weather, nor because of the queues; the weather was amazing, most of the time I was able to stay only in this suit jacket, I didn’t even need a coat. And the queues went surprisingly fast.

I’m terrified of heights and small places, but my mom forced me to climb with her in the cupola to see the panoramic view of Rome. Mind you, at the beginning the stairs were a medium width, but they kept getting smaller and smaller, at one point I got dizzy and couldn’t breathe properly. When I thought everything was over we took a turn and I saw the smallest and steepest staircase I’ve ever seen (and hope to be the last one, too). I started to cry and panicked, the only thing that made me keep climbing them was that there were people behind me and I had no other choice. It was horrible! I fell down stairs so many times I lost the count actually (when I came back from Japan I fell on the airplane’s stairs and hit my face on the pavement), therefore going down the stairs was even more terrifying. My fingertips were sore from how hard I pressed in the rail and I had a bruise on my elbow from leaning too hard into the wall.

To make everything better, it wasn’t even worth it. The cupola was way too high so the panoramas came out like shit… Then I had this uneasy feeling all day long.

What I’m wearing:

Fur (fake): H&M

Shirt: Zara

Jacket: Zara

Pants: H&M

Flats: Zara

Not too much variety on that day~ I had a purse from Guess but we took this pictures on the veranda of the hotel after breakfast and I didn’t take it with me~

Me and my beautiful mother :)

And bloopers, haha :D I can’t do a mini-photoshoot without fooling around~

As always, please click on the pictures to make them bigger :) Also, any opinion on to how to improve my posing or outfits is more than welcomed. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

Rome: A Beginning

Even if I got back on sunday, this week has been hectic, therefore I had no time to write about my trip to Rome. As some of you know, I transferred to another school. I’m having quite a hard time, to be honest, new classmates, new teachers, subjects, it’s a lot to get used to. But that’s not what I should write about now, I’m sorry.

I spent five wonderful days with my amazing mother in Rome last week. We had the luck to have amazing weather and it wasn’t too crowded since it’s extra-season, if you know what I mean :)

But like every good thing, there’s a bad side to it too. My CF card broke on the third day, so I lost around 300 photos. I was devastated, but we managed to find a new one and took almost all pictures again, except for the ones with the Colosseum (inside and outside) and the ones taken at the St Paolo Church, which was my favourite from all churches we entered. And of course, the pictures of my outfits from the first days. Unfortunate.

The second unfortunate happening was on the metro. It was really crowded so I asked my mom to take the next one (I’m terrified by masses of people) but she stubbornly said no and got in. I almost got mugged, thank god I had my phone in my skirt’s pocket, not my jacket’s, because a man shoved his hand in my pocket and ran at the next stop…

It would be an awfully long post if I wrote everything at once, so I decided to break it into several posts:

Rome by day

Rome by night

High fashion street in Rome+my own shopping

One outfit post

This is what I thought about, but who knows, maybe I’ll change a few aspects (I hate following plans)

And lastly, a picture of me and my beautiful mother :) I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction and are looking forward for my next posts! Take Care <3

Half of my Christmas

Me and Daddy

For some time now, Christmas had a rough start for me. Last year I got in a huge fight with dad while we were doing the tree, whereas this year has been no different: on the 22nd, when I was at my dad’s place doing the tree, my mom started ~cleaning~ my room, aka throwing away everything she thought of as useless. Apparently, all the pamphlets I collected during my trips to Japan were labelled as useless and so did the amplifying wire the bassist from Guild gave me when I was to their live :(

Pretty globes~

But it ended up as a beautiful Christmas. I wasn’t mad on my mom in the first place, I was just really sad I lost all those precious items.

Unfortunately my Canon’s lens was broken so I only managed to take photos of half of my Christmas, as the title says, at my dad’s place (with his camera). I took a ton of photos but these are the only ones he emailed me :(

Presents wise, this year has been amazing. I got new lens for my Canon baby, a Pentax film camera (shot 7 pictures already :3), 2 beautiful necklaces and an Iphone 4.

I still have no CF card for my Canon so I had to take pictures of my presents with my iphone, therefore there are no shots of the black baby.

And, as every Christmas goes, there has to be a derpy tree decoration photo, right? : D

Did you enjoy your Christmas? What about your presents? Hope you had a lovely time!
